Commissioning Day 2019

A wonderful Commissioning Day took place on Saturday 14 June, when Wycliffe said a fond farewell to its leaving students. The service took place in the morning at St Andrews Church, Oxford, followed by a family fun afternoon at Wycliffe. Our catering team installed Mexican and Asian-inspired pop up food stalls on the lawn and there were games for the children, and refreshments for all.

In the afternoon Michael Lloyd gave thanks to Revd Dr Jenni Williams, as she leaves Wycliffe and moves into her new role as incumbent at St Matthew’s Grandpont Oxford, having taught at Wycliffe for 14 years.

Michael also thanked Dr Darren Sarisky, Wycliffe Tutor in Doctrine in Ministry 2018-19, and Departmental Lecturer in Modern Theology for the Faculty of Theology and Religion, as he embarks on a new position as Senior Research Fellow at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.
