As of Michaelmas Term 2024, Jean Kabasomi is serving as a part-time Consultant to the New Renaissance Project at Wycliffe Hall, focussing on the Leadership stream of the project's activity.
Jean has almost a decade of experience working in financial services, primarily investment banking, in London. She has worked in a variety of roles including chief of staff, banking operations, client services, transaction reporting, and policy. She has served global banks such as Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, UBS, Barclays and HSBC.
Jean is passionate about God being glorified in all the earth. She helps Christian leaders in for-profit and not-for-profit organisations achieve their God-given vision by providing clarity and direction. She does this by combining her business experience and education alongside her academic studies and personal faith to find practical and creative solutions.
She has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford, a BA in Theology from Durham University and a Masters in Biblical Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
Jean is a school governor at St Gabriel's College, serves as a trustee on the board of the Good Faith Foundation and has recently been appointed as the treasurer for the Centre for Cultural Witness. In her spare time, Jean hosts a monthly podcast on good Christian books called 'Have You Ever Read...?' and writes devotionals for Bible.com.
