Green Action Week 2025

Wycliffe Hall joined in with the University-wide Green Action Week in 4th week of Hilary Term 2025. During this week, we hosted a series of events to engage the Wycliffe Hall community in caring for the environment. All of our students, staff and the wider Wycliffe Hall community were warmly invited to join in.

Nature & Worship Photography Challenge

We encouraged each other to spend time out and about in God's marvellous creation, take a photo that especially evoked a sense of worship and/or brought to mind a verse or passage of Scripture. These are displayed on the Green Impact board.

Green Action Launch

To launch the week we held a drop in for a pot plant giveaway, tasty snacks, and Green Action updates! Plenty of the student body collected daffodils or succulents, pasta measurers and vegan snacks prepared in our kitchens.

Walks In Nature

Two group walks took place during the week - one to University Parks and the other at Jericho Nature Reserve.

Gardening with the kids

On Thursday mornings spouses of current students meet together – during this time their children planted beans, peas and daffodils.
